Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidate should have degree in B.E/B.Tech or B.Sc.
- Candidate from Computer Science, Engineering or a related field can apply.
- Candidate should have proven experience of 0 to 2 years as a QA tester or similar role.
- Candidate should have understanding of QA methodology.
- Candidate should have basic understanding of any programming language.
Skills :
- Candidate should have strong organizational skills.
- Candidate should have excellent communication skills.
- Candidate should have attention to detail.
- Candidate should have ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Candidate should having familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Candidate should have working knowledge of test management software (e.g. QA complete, Rally, Clear Quest etc) and SQL.
- Candidate should have analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Candidate should have passion for testing.
- Candidate should have maps business and technical requirements into Test Cases.
- Candidate should have experiance in P&C Insurance.
Responsibilities :
- Candidate should review and analyze system specifications.
- Candidate should collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test planse.
- Candidate should execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Candidate should evaluate product code according to specifications.
- Candidate should create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Candidate should report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Candidate should help troubleshoot issues.
- Candidate should conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
- Candidate should work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Added Advantage :
- Candidate should have ability to understand and write simple XSLTS.
- Candidate should have experience with automation tests such as Test Complete, RFT , Selenium - an advantage.
- Candidate should have domain experience in the Insurance Industry desired, preferably in the Property and Casualty, Homes Owners, Personal Auto etc.
- Candidate should have experience in full software development lifecycle SDLC using agile methodologies such as Scrum.
